Abstract Based on reasonable designing，precise temperature controlling of the Cr4+:YAG，Nd:YAG，LBO and LD，Passively Q-switched green laser is obtained with average output power of 27mW，pulse duration of 15ns，repetition rate of 16kHz，and peak power of 108W, Then by a piece of type-I critical phase matching BBO crystal fo rextra-cavity fourth-har –monic generation，Ultraviolet laser at 266nm with a verage power of 1.2mW is achieved.The reason that the far-field spot of the
266nm laser is ellipsoid is also discussed.
